HOMCOM 2x17.5KG Rubber Hex Portable

The HOMCOM 2×17.5KG Rubber Hex Dumbbells are ideal for intermediate to advanced users seeking a robust addition to their home gym. With each dumbbell weighing 17.5kg, they cater well to strength training and muscle building goals. These weights are particularly suitable for those with limited space, as their compact design allows for easy storage. They’re best for users who need a straightforward, reliable set of weights for exercises like bench presses, squats, and lunges. While there are no customer reviews yet, their standard features suggest they are a practical choice for home fitness enthusiasts looking to enhance their workout regimen.

Performance and Usability

Based on the specifications, the 17.5kg weight per dumbbell is substantial for various strength exercises, offering a significant challenge for users aiming to increase muscle mass. The hex design ensures these dumbbells won’t roll away, enhancing usability and safety, particularly during high-intensity workouts. The rubber coating is intended to protect floors from damage, which is beneficial for home environments. However, users seeking a broader range of weights might find these options limiting. While the grip design aims to prevent slipping, some users may prefer a more textured handle for added security during sweaty sessions.

Build Quality and Design

The HOMCOM dumbbells boast a solid construction with a rubber hex coating, designed to withstand regular use. The rubber finish helps reduce noise and protect surfaces, making them suitable for home gyms where minimising disruption is key. The handles are crafted for a comfortable grip, although they may not suit all hand sizes equally. Their compact shape allows them to fit neatly into various home gym setups, but users with limited storage might need to consider their size and weight. The absence of adjustable weights means they occupy less space compared to bulkier dumbbell sets.
